what to do: tonight and onward

Tonight/WEDNESDAY (2/28):

Book Reading & Discussion, reception afterward
7 p.m. at Bush Memorial Center, The Sage Colleges, Congress & First Streets, Troy

Christopher Ringwald, journalist and author of the new book "A Day Apart," will talk with Muslim and Jewish clerics about how they and Christians (he's Catholic) observe Sabbath. I'm reading his new book right now and find it helpful and challenging in understanding the practice and importance of Sabbath.

City Council Meeting
7 p.m. at City Hall, Monument Square, Troy

If you live in Troy, go to the city council meeting to talk about plans for the Congress/Ferry Street corridor (a major project)!
