terra speaks to its generation

Nevermind the other media outlets. What do you read in the Capital Region? Metroland, of course... and so, today, you would read about Terra Nova Church in this week's edition:

http://metroland.net/features.html

Chet Hardin, copy editor at The Saratogian and Troy resident/homeowner, wrote a poignant piece about Terra, its pastors, and the stories that are still being written in our lives as we figure out how to do church for Generation X. Please pick it up and read it today.

Awesome article. We both really enjoyed it. I heard it suggested recently that churches like Terra, Vintage and other a29 churches attract 2 types of people. Those in their late teens, 20's who just can't find a place to fit into the more traditional, conservative church of America that they attended with their parents growing up and those who have been burned by the "church" in the past in some way and need restoration & a true picture of community & acceptance within the body of Christ. How exciting to be a part of this!
